This site would recommend taking the advanced/AP/TAG option because the on-level option will leave a bad impact on GPA and depending on the teacher, the advanced class can be very easy, with students even doing work for other classes during the time. I would not recommend taking Dual Credit English (College Credit), because it is extra work and can leave a negative impact.

In 9th Grade, students should take English I Adv./TAG

In 10th Grade, students should take English II Adv./TAG.

In 11th Grade, students should take English III AP Language and Composition (TAG if possible).

In 12th Grade, students should take English IV AP Literature and Composition (TAG if possible).
