Physical Education

Information on all sports can be found at warriorsports.org.

One PE Credit is required of all students to graduate high school. Here are a list of courses that can give this credit and this site's recommendations. This site recommends taking the PE credit at UT High School or taking Team Sports. Here is a more detailed explanation of somes PE courses:

Team Sports

Team Sports is the most basic PE class for students to enter. In team sports, depending on the teacher, you can either walk around the track for an hour and have a study hall for the remaining time, or learn about different sports. It is an easy class in which students can get their work done.

Functional Fitness

Functional Fitness, despite being marketed as something else, is the exact same class as Team Sports, with students doing the same activities and even sharing a class with Team Sports students. This site recommends Team Sports over Functional Fitness purely because, if this were to change, students would have more free time to work on stuff for other classes in Team Sports

Off Campus PE

Off Campus PE is a great class if you are already doing a physical activity frequently outside of school and allows you to put more time into electives of your choice. However, if you wish to start a new activity just for this class so you have more time for electives, This site instead recommends taking PE outside of school at UT High School. More can be found about skipping classes here.
